Remove DBMS Column to Column Assignments

There may be a need to delete a Column. If there exists, however one or more already assigned DBMS Columns, the deletion process is not allowed. To accomplish the deletion of a Column, the assignments between DBMS Columns and Columns have to be removed. This removal is accomplished by:

• Start the Operational Database Model Metabase System Module
• Select the DBMS
• Enter User Name and Password
• Select the Menu Item, ReEngineering, and then the subordinate menu item, Remove DBMS Column to Column Assignments.
• Select DBMS Schema
• Select DBMS Table
• Tag the DBMS Columns that are to have the DBMS Column to Column relationship removed.
• Press the Remove button that accomplishes the action
