ReAssign DBMS Columns to DBMS Columns

DBMS Columns may have been mistakenly assigned to a wrong DBMS Column and may need to be reassigned. This reassignment is accomplished by:

• Start the Operational Database Model Metabase System Module
• Select the DBMS
• Enter User Name and Password
• Select the Menu Item, ReEngineering, and then the subordinate menu item, ReAssign DBMS Columns to DBMS Columns.
• Select Reassign-from DBMS Table.
• Tag one Move-from DBMS Column as appropriate
• Tag one Move-to DBMS Column
• Check the root check-box if the Move-from DBMS Column is to be a root DBMS Column within the Selected DBMS Table.
• Press the button that reassigns the DBMS Column reassign action
