ReAssign Entities to Entities

Entities may have been mistakenly assigned to different entities and may need to be made a stand-alone entity. TThis reassignment is accomplished by:

• Start the Subject Data Model Metabase System Module
• Select the DBMS
• Enter User Name and Password
• Select the Menu Item, ReEngineering, and then the subordinate menu item, ReAssign Entities to Subjects.
• Tag one Move-from Entity from the left tree list.
• Check the Tag to Create root if the Move-from Entity (and all its contained subordinate Entities) are to become a new root Entity.
• Alternatively, if the Move-To Entity is to be contained within an existing Move-to Entity, tag that Move-to Entity
• Press the button that reassigns the Entity move action
