ReAssign DBMS Tables to DBMS Tables

Tables may have been mistakenly assigned to different DBMS Tables and may need to be made a stand-alone DBMS Table. This reassignment is accomplished by:
  • Start the Operational Database Model Metabase System Module
  • Select the DBMS
  • Enter User Name and Password
  • Select the Menu Item, ReEngineering, and then the subordinate menu item, ReAssign DBMS Tables to DBMS Tables.
  • Select a Schema
  • Tag one Move-from DBMS Table from the left tree list.
  • Check the Tag to Create root if the Move-from DBMS Table (and all its contained subordinate DBMS Tables) are to become a new root DBMS Table.
  • Alternatively, if the Move-To DBMS Table is to be contained within an existing Move-to DBMS Table, tag that Move-to DBMS Table
  • Press the button that reassigns the DBMS Table move action
