The DBMSs that can be engines for the Metabase System are currently Mimer (www.mimer.com) and Microsoft’s MS/SQL. The demo databases that come with the install are for Mimer and for MS/SQL
The Metabase Software executed with two running databases. One to control your dataset(s), that is, MbSysDB, and another to house system tables, manage users and store security information (e.g., Movies or Metabase).
